God’s Hand is on Israel
God’s hand has never lifted from His covenant people. In times of conflict and uncertainty, we are reminded that His promises to Israel stand firm. This devotional reflects on God’s unshakable faithfulness and what it means for us today.
On February 20, 2025, Israel faced what could have been another day of national tragedy. Bombs exploded on buses in the Bat Yam area. More devices were discovered on other buses, set to detonate during the busiest hour of the morning. By every calculation, the outcome should have been disaster.
And yet, not one life was lost.
One young woman noticed a suspicious bag and spoke up. A driver evacuated his bus just in time. Timers meant to trigger destruction at 9:00 a.m. had been mistakenly set for 9:00 p.m. Explosions shook the streets, but no families mourned.
Some call it chance. But to people of faith, it was a miracle.
Scripture reminds us:
“Give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1)
God does not always shield us from sorrow. Israel knows grief too deeply to deny that truth. But sometimes, when despair threatens to overwhelm, He breaks through the darkness with unmistakable light. Yesterday, it came in the form of vigilance, providence, and mercy.
A rainbow stretched across the Israeli sky—a covenant reminder from the days of Noah. And as bombs failed to claim even one life, many hearts whispered the ancient blessing:
“Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the Universe, who has bestowed every good thing upon us.”
Let us give thanks for the miracle of life preserved, and trust that even in the fiercest battles, God still has His hand upon His people.
