The Shield You Can’t See
Every day, God guards you from dangers you may never know about. Rest in the truth that His protection is constant—even when unseen.
Think of how many dangers you never even knew passed you by today. A wrong turn avoided. An illness healed before it began. The psalmist declares, “The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand” (Psalm 121:5). God’s protection is often invisible—but always real.
Reflection: Thank Him not only for what you know He’s protected you from, but also for what you’ll never know.
Prayer: Lord, I rest under Your shield of protection.
The Shelter of His Protection
God’s protection is both seen and unseen.
“The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand.” (Psalm 121:5)
We notice when God shields us from obvious danger, but most of His protection goes unseen—the accidents avoided, the unseen battles fought on our behalf. His protection is not only from harm but also with the way he carries us through hardship.
Meditation: Where has God’s hand protected you in ways you didn’t even realize at the time?
Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my Keeper. Whether I see it or not, I trust You are guarding me each day.
