Introduction
In Israel, fields of scarlet poppies bloom in spring, covering the land with bursts of radiant color. The poppy is known in Victorian floriography as a symbol of imagination and creativity. For those who walk with God, it also carries the message: “You are radiant with inspiration. Your gifts are a blessing to the world. God has planted beauty and creativity within you.”
The poppy reminds us that God not only gives life, but He gives us the capacity to create, to imagine, and to reflect His beauty in unique ways.

Scripture Focus
• Exodus 35:35 – “He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work… all of them skilled workers and designers.”
• Psalm 104:24 – “How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.”
• Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.”

Reflection
The poppy’s delicate form and vibrant hue speak of joy and imagination bursting forth from God’s Spirit. When you give a poppy, you are saying: “Your life is a radiant gift. Your creativity inspires me. God’s joy shines through you.”
Like the poppy blooming across the land, your life can spread beauty and inspiration wherever God plants you. Creativity is not just for artists — it is a gift from God that enriches every part of life.
