Child Trafficking Eyewitness Testimony as reported by Former Stonebriar Church Choir Member Victoria Cameron and confirmed by an undercover officer

DALLAS, TX —The date was December 23, 2018. Victoria Cameron, then a member of the Stonebriar Church choir, was walking through the church lobby after she had just put her choir robe on.

She was on her way to the room called “The Dungeon.” It’s a large room just next to the sanctuary where the choir assembles before they enter the choir loft. No one knows why that room is called The Dungeon, or those that do, keep it to themselves.

Victoria stopped in the church lobby for a few minutes to grab a cup of the church’s complimentary coffee. That’s when she noticed something was wrong.

She saw the people she refers to as “David in the Choir,” a man who sang in the Stonebriar Church choir, and his wife “Debbie from Wisconsin,” who talked a lot about how she was from Wisconsin, walking across the lobby with a child.

They took the child to the doors of the church and gave the child to two men who were waiting at the doors. The two men handed them an envelope in exchange for the child. The envelope was talked about like it was a cheque that was a payment for the sale of a child.

“David in the choir” asked about the envelope, “Is this cheque higher or lower than the last one?’

One of the men said, “Higher.”

“Debbie from Wisconsin,” said “We’ll wait until we get home to open it.”

”David in the choir” smiled. He was not wearing his choir robe, as he elected not to sing with the choir that day. Cameron thought he was out of town since she didn’t see him in the choir’s rehearsal room that morning. That’s the place where the choir meets every Sunday morning to sing through the songs planned for the service that day. (Not the same room as The Dungeon.)

David wasn’t out of town. He was involved in a transaction that was alleged to be procurement for child trafficking.

“David in the choir” and “Debbie from Wisconsin” engaged in a conversation with the two men and talked about why they chose that child to hand to them for the cheque. There was light discussion about the problems in the child’s family that caused the child’s parents to agree that this arrangement was best for everyone involved.

“Debbie from Wisconsin” said, “Well tell Ghislaine hi for us, and tell her we said Merry Christmas.”

“Debbie from Wisconsin” then noticed Cameron looking over at them. She looked startled.

The two men took the child outside, and stood outside waiting for other people to deliver a second child to them. A different couple came moments later. “Debbie from Wisconsin” watched the exchange.

She said, “I wonder how much their cheque was worth.”

Cameron walked by “David in the choir” and “Debbie from Wisconsin” and walked over to the glass doors of the church and stepped outside for a moment to sip some coffee and get some fresh air.

While outside, she saw a third couple walk up to the two men. They also delivered a child to them and received an envelope that was talked about like it was a cheque. Cameron, inwardly shocked, pretended not to notice, and walked back into the church to head straight to The Dungeon.

When she walked back inside, she was instantly confronted by “David in the choir” and “Debbie from Wisconsin.”

“Debbie from Wisconsin” said through gritted teeth, “Wait just a minute. Wait right there, I want to talk to you first.”

Cameron said, “I have to go sing in the choir. They’re lining up now in The Dungeon. I’m sorry. Ive got to go.”

“David in the choir” said, “No, you’re not going anywhere until you talk to us first.”

He moved and stepped in front of her to block her from walking towards The Dungeon.

He said, “Do you know what this is about, what that was about outside? You just saw those men out there?”

Cameron said, “I’m sorry I have to go.”

“Debbie from Wisconsin” said “David! Grab her arm.”

“David in the choir” grabbed Cameron’s arm and made sure she couldn’t get away from him.

“Debbie from Wisconsin” said, “No, you heard David, you’re not going anywhere until we have our little chat. Do you know what we’re doing here today?”

Cameron said, “Let go of my arm. I have to go sing.”

“Debbie from Wisconsin” asked her, “Do you know what we’re doing? Oh my God, I think you know.”

Cameron said “I just stepped outside for some fresh air, and now I have to go sing. Let go of me!”

“David in the choir” became agitated and angry.

He spoke angrily to Cameron, was on the verge of shouting and said, “I’ll be dammed if you mess around with my business!”

He looked heated and angry and became enraged.

Cameron glanced over her shoulder, looking for someone to help her.

“Debbie from Wisconsin” looked over at the direction where Cameron glanced and then moved in front of her to block her whoever Cameron might have looked at from watching what they were doing.

“Debbie from Wisconsin” said, “David we can’t risk this. She has to leave with us.”

“David in the choir” said, “They have cameras. We have to be careful.”

Cameron kept struggling to get away. She looked over her shoulder again for help.

“Debbie from Wisconsin,” disciplined Cameron like a child. She said, “No, No, No, you look at me, not him. You keep your eyes looking at my eyes while I’m talking to you, and not whoever you’re looking at over there across the room. I want direct eye contact. What you’re doing is rude. You’re rude. I don’t even know why they let you in the doors of this place. You’re rude. You don’t talk like that to us, got it? You hear me?”

One of the men that Cameron had glanced at across the room, made eye contact with her, and then started walking towards the conversation.

“Debbie from Wisconsin” said, “David we have to let her go. They saw us. Well, I think they did.”

“Debbie from Wisconsin” told Cameron, “We aren’t playing around here. Understand this. Everyone in David’s family will vouch us. They’ll say we were with them today.”

“David in the choir” threatened Cameron, “If you cross me, I will send you off like those kids out there,” and pointed at the kids that were standing just outside the glass doors to the church with the men who had given people cheques for them.

He said, “Just don’t cross me!”

This is a map of Stonebriar Church in Frisco, TX. The activity that appeared to be child trafficking transactions on December 23, 2018, occurred in the yellow highlighted area of map. The blue X is where the children were seen being handed over to the two men for an exchange of an envelope that was talked about like it was a cheque. A woman later joined the two men.

The man that had been standing across the room, who had been walking towards the conversation, started walking faster, and then started to run.

“David in the choir” told her, “If you breathe one word of this to anyone, I’ll be dammed, I’m telling you. No! No, I’m not taking any chances with this. You’re next!”

When the man approached the conversation, he said, “Whoah, Whoah, Whoah, What’s going on here? Why are you holding on to her like that? She looks uncomfortable. Let go of her.”

When “David in the choir” didn’t let go of her, but instead, tightened, his grip, the man shouted, “I SAID, let go of her!”

He had to physically force David’s grip off of Cameron’s arm. Cameron said later, he was holding onto her like he had a death grip on her.

When the man freed her from David’s grip, she ran and stood right behind him.

He said, “I’m her shield.”

The man, looked over his shoulder briefly and nodded and motioned for another man to come over to him.

To David and Debbie he said, “Do you want to tell me what’s going on here, why she’s so rattled?”

“David in the choir” said, “Oh, officer, we were just talking. There’s no problem here.”

The man told Cameron, “While I’m talking with them, will you step over there, and talk to my friend, just have a conversation with him about what just happened. He really cares. He’s concerned.”

The man pointed across the room to another man who was standing against the wall. Cameron walked over to him while another man came and joined the man who was confronting “David in the choir” and “Debbie from Wisconsin.”

While Cameron was walking to the other officer, the man who had freed her from “David in the choir” began assertively questioning David and Debbie.

Cameron heard him say, “Do you know Ghislaine Maxwell?…Are you her friends?…I’m not playing around here. This is serious…This is a life and death situation, and both of you are involved.”

Cameron heard David and Debbie start explaining away how what they were doing was not what it looked like what they doing.

When she reached the other officer, he showed her a badge.

He said, “I’m an undercover. Will you talk to me about what you saw over there, and the conversation you just had with those people? This is really important. We’re here watching this today.”

The officer asked her to give him an on the record statement of what just happened. He showed her he was recording their conversation on his phone, and Cameron told him everything she had just witnessed.

Cameron told him,

“I think that they are trafficking children, and I think they want to traffic me because I just saw something that they didn’t want me to see.”

He asked, “How do you know them?”

She said, “I met them when I joined the choir. He sings in the choir and she’s his wife. They’re not my friends or anything like that. I just have talked to them a little like anyone you would try to talk to when you join a new group in the church like the choir.”

He said, “Do you believe your life is in danger?”

She said, “Yes, yes I do.”

Then she started to cry.

He asked, “Can you tell me why you were outside before you walked in here?

She said, “I got a cup of coffee before I went to sing, and just stepped outside for fresh air.”

He said, “Do you know any of the people you saw outside, the ones that were giving the envelopes or receiving the envelopes?”

She said, “No.”

He said, “Do you know or have you seen before any one of the children that were standing outside with those men?”

She said, “I don’t know them personally, but I have seen them at the church before.”

He said, “Do you know if the people they were standing with are their parents or other family members?”

She said, “I know they aren’t. Those people that were outside, are people that were talking about finders fees that they could get for referring children to the adoption agency that has been visiting the church, but I really don’t think they are a real adoption agency, and this is why…”

She told him every reason why she thought that “the adoption agency” that had been networking and further operating at the church was really traffickers engaging in procurement for child trafficking.

After they talked and she answered his questions, he told her, “There’s just one thing I ask. Don’t go out there and try to play hero. If you want a shot at trying to save those kids, then I need you to let me handle this. This is dangerous. It is critical you step aside and let me handle this.”

He told her to go straight to the choir and let him handle this. He told her not to stick around in the lobby to watch this to try to help, but to trust that he and the other people that he brought with him that day to watch this were there doing their jobs.

He told her, “I’m the one who has the resources to handle this, not you.”

Cameron, visibly shaken, did exactly what the man told her to do.

DCN spoke to one of the officers Cameron spoke with that day in the church lobby in order to confirm this conversation. He confirmed the conversations and interactions that were observed that day that have been reported in this article.

He was part of the undercover investigation that led to the arrests of Epstein and Maxwell, as confirmed by officers in association with the office of James Dennehy, assistant director of the FBI’s New York field office. He requested to be referred to as a “field officer” in order to maintain his integrity as an undercover officer and so as not to jeopardize ongoing investigations.

He said about Cameron, “She was graceful, but a little shaky and on the verge of tears, though I understand she had a trauma reaction when she was singing in the choir later.”

Excerpt from the December 23, 2018 video, showing Victoria Cameron experiencing a trauma reaction while singing.

He also stated that unless you knew what you were looking for, that it would have been hard for a normal person attending the church to notice that child trafficking transactions were happening. What they were doing would have looked innocent to most people, and would not have caught the attention of a standard church goer.

He said that he understands that Cameron is a child trafficking survivor and that she was child trafficked a very long time ago, and that because she was a former victim, she noticed things and made observations that others did not, which was why she was such a valuable witness, and which was also why David and Debbie felt threatened by her.

Cameron doesn’t know what happened to the children that were handed to those men that day at Stonebriar Church, just two days before Christmas in 2018.

All she knows is that they entered Stonebriar Church that day through these doors:

Interior view of a large church lobby featuring a stained glass window, high ceilings, and multiple doors.

And they left Stonebriar church that day through those doors, with strangers:

She said she felt she did the best thing anyone could do by reporting what she saw immediately and then leaving it in the hands of God.

The thing that haunts her that she sometimes wonders about is…what happened to those children?

The question isn’t WAS THERE a child trafficked from Stonebriar Church at Christmas?

But it’s, “How many children were trafficked?

Who were they?

Where did they go when they were transported? What happened to them?

How often has this happened at Stonebriar Church?

How many other churches has this happened at?

Could it happen again this Christmas?

According to the field officer we spoke with about this incident that happened at Stonebriar Church in Frisco, TX, Cameron was able to recognize signs of child trafficking that went over the heads of a lot of other people, because of how she had been a former victim of child trafficking. He says she did the right thing with what she observed by reporting what she witnessed.

He said, “We have closely surveilled this operation, and I want to make it very clear that Victoria was in no way at all a part of this group. She just happened to attend one of the churches in Dallas Fort Worth they were operating in, and assisted our officers with their investigation by reporting what she witnessed.”

“The on the spot report she gave about what she witnessed at the church around Christmas, was not the first time she assisted us, but she had started talking with us about suspicious activities that were happening at the church that past summer, and she has been cooperative and helpful each time.”

According to Rick Sullivan, “I think the hand of God brought Victoria to Stonebriar Church. He sent us someone who is a credible witness who was able to recognize and identity what was happening in our church. I believe that her coming here was divinely orchestrated by God, and I am grateful that she had the courage to be a witness and an advocate for other victims.”

“I think she’s someone like Joseph in the Bible, whose steps were divinely arranged by God, and just like what happened to Joseph, God was able to turn things around for her and use her as a witness and a voice to save lives,” said Sullivan.”

We asked Cameron if she talked to Pastor Swindoll about the activities of the people at Stonebriar Church she suspected were involved in child trafficking. She explained that she was steered away from talking to him by one of the field officers, which we confirmed by talking to the officer.

He told her that she could try to set up a meeting to talk to the pastor directly about it, but that it would put her at risk. He explained when something like that is happening at a church, it was highly possible that church staff members could be involved.

Cameron said, “I was grateful for the time I spent at Pastor Swindoll’s church and for the time I spent in his choir when I was a part of it.

I do not believe it is in the heart of the church to support the people who were involved in the crimes I witnessed, and I think most people at the church were oblivious that any of it was happening.

I know as a church they have taken a public stance against trafficking with the anti-human trafficking ministries they have at the church, and they have a reputation for supporting and encouraging family values.

I feel compelled to help by sharing my story because I share those Christian values, and I want to help bring awareness to this issue so people can recognize it if it is happening in other places.

It breaks my heart at the thought of any child being displaced and trafficked like I was, and I want to do what I can to help prevent that from happening, and I want to help save lives.”

This is the video we made of Cameron singing in the choir the day she had this encounter in the church lobby with the child traffickers that were at Stonebriar Church.

We reached out to Stonebriar Church and David and Debbie for questions and comments in regards to this issue, and we were ignored.

WHY HAVEN’T DAVID AND DEBBIE BEEN ARRESTED?

According to the field officer we spoke with, when they were approached and confronted about the suspicious activities they were involved in, they explained it all away as something else. They said they were mortified that what they were doing looked like child trafficking to the FBI.

WAS THIS AN EXAMPLE OF GASLIGHTING?
OR WAS IT THE TRUTH?
