DALLAS, TX —A choir member of Stonebriar Church in Frisco, TX, left without explanation. Church officials dismissed inquiries, insisting there was “nothing to talk about,” despite her involvement as a witness in a federal investigation related to child trafficking linked to Stonebriar Church insiders.
“There’s nothing to talk about here,” was what DCN was told when they visited Stonebriar Church in Frisco, TX, to ask churchgoers and church staff members about what happened to former Stonebriar Church choir member Victoria Cameron.
Transcript: “Victoria Cameron is no longer a member of the Stonebriar Church choir. It’s nothing to talk about. I already told you, there’s nothing to talk about. I’m not talking about it. There’s no reason to ruin anybody’s Christmas over a controversy that I don’t believe happened. And I‘m not going to give you anything that will cause you to be able to write a story that will cause reputational damage for our church. That’s why I said before, I’m not going to help you with whatever you’re, whatever you’re doing this for.”
Transcript: “Who are you asking me about?” “Victoria Cameron.” “Victoria Cameron? Yeah I remember her. She used to sing in our choir and she doesn’t anymore. No one knew what happened when she left, and no one’s seen her around her for a long time. Nothing to talk about here. And uh, I don’t know what you want to know, but there’s nothing to talk about here.”

The reason this is so important, is that there isn’t “Nothing to talk about here,” as some representatives of Stonebriar Church claim.
Victoria Cameron is an individual who was nearly trafficked by members of her church.
No one knew why she disappeared. She could have been trafficked.
That could have been the reason that she disappeared, and everyone who knew her at the church, and had met her, and who had sung in the choir with her, would have just gone on with their every day lives like nothing happened.
That is why this is so serious.
The people that tried to traffic her were looking for people to sell who would not be missed by the community they were a part of, or people they could cause not to be missed by manipulating the people they knew and turning them against them.
Stonebriar Church attender Stephen Patrick said,
“The fact that these traffickers went into Stonebriar Church with an agenda to do this to our girls, says something about the dynamics of our church community.
Is it just that there is something wrong with our community at Stonebriar? Or is this the status quo of communities in megachurches everywhere?
Something has to change.”
We reached out to Stonebriar Church for questions and comments when we worked on this, and we were ignored.
